About us
The Lazy Monkey is a bar and Indian kitchen on Warwick Row, a short walk from Coventry railway station and the city centre — and a very easy place to lose an evening.
We serve premium Indian food alongside a full bar. Indian specialities and gourmet curries sit next to burgers, wings and loaded mac and cheese — a fusion of flavours, where traditional Indian influences meet the food you'd actually order on a night out.
The room is warm and relaxed: botanical wallpaper, copper lighting and low neon, with sofas at the front, seats at the bar and proper tables in the restaurant. Come in for a drink before your train, or settle in for the evening with a table full of small plates.

The food
A fusion of flavours.
Indian specialities and gourmet curries alongside burgers, wings, loaded mac and cheese and Indian-style pizza. Everything is made to order, fresh, exactly how you want it — the kitchen will adjust the spice, salt or garlic in any dish if you ask. The chilli rating is a guide, not a fixed recipe. Eat in, call ahead to collect, or order delivery through Uber Eats and Deliveroo.
The bar
Cocktails, draught beer and spirits.
Every cocktail is made with real fruit rather than fruit syrups. Alongside them we serve a number of draught beers and ales, including India's Cobra lager, plus wine, a full spirits range, mocktails and proper coffee.

Parties & private hire
Room for up to 150 people.
Birthdays, work parties, engagements, christenings and leaving dos — we host all of it, and we do it most weekends.
You can take a section of the venue or the whole place, and we'll put food and drinks together around what you actually want rather than handing you a fixed package. Buffet-style sharing menus, set menus and drinks packages are all doable.
Sundays are given over to private hire, so you can have the run of the place. Tell us the date, rough numbers and what the occasion is, and we'll come back to you with options.
